Nama Smaradana berkaitan denga peristiwa hangusnya dewa Asmara/Kama oleh sorot mata ketiga dewa Siwa seperti disebutkan dalam kakawin Smaradhana karya Mpu Darmaja.

Smaradhana was written by Mpu Darmaja during the reign of Kamicwara I of Kediri.
It is telling the story of how Kama/ Asmara God of love was burned by the third eye of Siwa.

Kakawin Ghatotkacasraya

Karangan Mpu Panuluh berisi kisah perkawinan Abimanyu dan Ksitisundari yang dibantu oleh Gatotkaca.
Mpu Panuluh adalah pujangga sastra Jawa yang hidup pada jaman pemerintahan Jayabaya dari Kerajaan Kediri di Jawa, Indonesia. Ia terkenal terutama karena merampungkan penulisan Kakawin Bhāratayuddha yang dirintis oleh saudaranya, Mpu Sedah. Mpu Panuluh juga menulis Kakawin Hariwangsa.

Written by Mpu Panuluh, telling the wedding of Abimanyu and Ksitisundari that made possible by Gatotkaca.
Mpu Panuluh lived in the reign of Jayabaya from Kediri.
He finished his brother Mpu Sedah's work Kakawin Bhāratayuddha.
Mpu Panuluh also wrote Kakawin Hariwangsa.

Kakawin Krishnayana

Kakawin Kresnâyana adalah sebuah karya sastra Jawa Kuna yang menceritakan pernikahan prabu Kresna dan penculikan calonnya yaitu Rukmini.
Kresnâyana secara harafiah berarti perjalanan Kresna, maksudnya perjalanannya ke negeri Kundina, tempat sang Rukmini.
Kakawin Kresnâyana ditulis oleh mpu Triguna pada saat prabu Warsajaya memerintah di Kediri pada kurang lebih tahun 1104 Masehi.
Tema yang dibahas dalam kakawin Kresnâyana ini mirip dengan tema yang dibahas dalam kakawin Hariwangsa. Para pakar sastra Jawa Kuna berpendapat bahwa kakawin Hariwangsa lebih berhasil dalam menggarap tema yang sama ini


Kakawin Kresnâyana is a Jawa Kuna literature telling the elope of Kresna and Rukmini.

Arjunawiwaha

In 1035, Mpu Kanwa composed the Arjuna Wiwaha text, which was adapted from the Mahabharata epic. This text told the story of Arjuna, an incarnation of Vishnu, but was also an allegory for Airlangga's own life. The tale of Airlangga's life was illustrated in the Belahan Temple on the flanks of Mount Penanggungan.
